Saudi Agriculture 2025 Connects the ROK and the KSA for Expanded Trade of Agricultural Inputs and Smart Farms
Sejong, 19 October 2025— From 20 to 23rd October, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) of the Republic of Korea (ROK) will open a Korean pavilion with 14 Korean exporters of agricultural machinery, equipment, and other agricultural inputs in Saudi Agriculture 2025, an international agricultural exhibition, in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The international exhibition will serve as a significant opportunity for Korean exporters and prospective buyers from Saudi Arabia to have a business deal for the trade of quality Korean-made agricultural inputs.
The Korean agricultural input exporters consist of eco-friendly agricultural materials producers, agricultural machinery makers, agricultural materials and equipment makers, and agricultural pesticides producers.
Saudi Agriculture 2025 is a large-scale international exhibition where businesses from the Middle East as well as from around the world showcase their cutting-edge technologies for the agricultural sector covering agricultural materials and equipment, food processing, livestock, etc. The exhibition will have approximately 370 companies from 29 countries, as well as approximately 27,000 people from the agricultural sector.
The agricultural market of Saudi Arabia is forecast to reach USD 25.7 billion in 2030, up by an annual average of 7.2% from USD 18.1 billion in 2025. In particular, the nation’s market for agricultural inputs (e.g. fertilizers, agricultural pesticides, eco-friendly agricultural equipment and materials, etc.) is growing fast. In addition, as Saudi Arabia is showing special interest in smart farming technologies as a way to overcome desert climate and achieve food security, the nation is emerging as an attractive market for Korean exporters of agricultural inputs.
Meanwhile, on 20 October, the MAFRA and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will hold the 2025 Saudi Arabia K-Smart Farm Roadshow. At the event, nine Korean smart-farm companies will present their advanced smart-farming technologies and have business meetings with 30 buyers from Saudi Arabia. As Saudi Agriculture 2025 is Saudi Arabia’s largest agricultural exhibition, the trade between both sides is expected to be expanded largely.
In November, the MAFRA plans to open a Korean pavilion in agricultural expositions to be held in the Republic of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, and help Korean producers of agricultural inputs expand their entry into the markets of the Middle East and Europe.
Deputy Minister KIM Jung Wook of the Agricultural Innovation Policy Office of the MAFRA said: “I hope that Saudi Agriculture 2025 will serve as a valued opportunity for the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to expand their trade and exchanges in terms of agricultural equipment, materials, fertilizers, and other inputs, as well as smart farms.”
