Project of Low Carbon Agricultural & Livestock Goods Certification System
◇ This system issues low carbon certification to agricultural and livestock goods that have reduced greenhouse gas emissions throughout production by using low carbon agricultural technology. This system is targeted to motivate production and consumption of low carbon agricultural and livestock goods and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Supports: Certification costs, education and consulting for drafting greenhouse gas calculation report, connection to Green Card*, distribution support, etc. * Accumulate up to 9% as points when a consumer purchases low carbon agricultural goods using Green Card

Implementation Procedures for Project of Low Carbon Agricultural & Livestock Goods Certification
① (Application) The applicant for certification submits the application form and the greenhouse gas calculation report to the certifying institution. * Application Criteria: Agricultural goods grown based on low carbon agricultural technology with safety guarantee and possibility to calculate greenhouse gas emissions
② (Screening & Deliberation) The screening team screens the documentation, performs due diligence, and drafts and submits the report to the certifying institution. - The certifying institution forms a deliberation committee to review the suitability of certification on the screening result
③ (Indication) Indicate certification mark if complies with certification criteria and approved as low carbon agricultural goods from screening
- Certification Expiry Date: 2 years
④ (Follow-up Management) Perform one or more follow-up management each year on certified goods * (Production) Consistency of low carbon cultivation method and cultivated item and agricultural materials, etc., (Distribution) Combination status with non-certified agricultural goods, suitability of certification mark and indicated information, etc.
